I found the way.

I found the way.
Shot on a Rolleicord III, with Fujifilm Fuijicolor ISO 100.

This was on the tail end of being ded from floo – this past Saturday, as a matter of fact. I was on my way to the store, and there’s a park in between my house and the store, and I saw this little stand of trees. And I thought, my, but those are nice and lovely and the sun is peeping through just right, let me go tramp around through there and see what I find. I had on Mary Jane shoes with no socks. And I tramped around in ankle-deep snow. I am going to catch pneumonia any day now.

But…then I came around this one bunch of trees, and right there was a lamppost out of nowhere. All it needed was Mr. Tumnus in his bright red scarf, with his packages from the market wrapped up in brown paper and string. :) It made me smile so so much, like with this stupid grin, I’m sure.

I have had to kind of search for smiles lately, and I am glad that I have this pic back, because it just makes me smile all over again.

Good job Rollei!

the tolling of the iron bell calls the faithful to their knees

the tolling of the iron bell calls the faithful to their knees
And then one day you find
Ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run
You missed the starting gun
And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it’s sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you’re older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter
Never seem to find the time…
